London Fire Equipment is a locally owned family business established in 1978. We currently employ 10 full time and 3 part time employees with 5 service vehicles ready to serve you.
Over the past 38+ years, we have been providing quality fire protection services to the commercial and industrial sectors as well as government, fire departments, restaurants, school boards, property managers and the general public.

Our procedures and recommendations vary depending on the type and age of the cylinder being re qualified. The following table will show our procedures, hydrostatic test interval and recommended visual inspection frequency :

* A Visual inspection is a mandatory part of the Hydrostatic Test
(Re qualification) Procedure.
** In addition to the above requirement, annual visual inspections are recommended.

Note 1: 4B specification steel cylinders qualify for a 12 year hydrostatic test when re qualified by the water jacket method only. Proof tests are valid for 7 years , both methods are required by Transport Canada Permit.
